Arena Das Dunas will hold 4 soccer matches during the 2014 world cup in Brazil. The 35,000 seat stadium completed by Bluecube Brazil was designed with a colour pattern of 5 different variants of the blue, perfect for this warm coastal city.
After 2 months on site and a whole lot of hard work by our dedicated team, we completed the installation of over 16,000 seats at the RSC Anderlecht Stadium. The first match was played 2 days later with great reviews from the fans and stadium management alike. Onsite manager Hugo Mosesson commented that it was one of the most satisfying projects he has completed, ‘as the result is breathtaking’.
The award winning Regent’s park theatre is a London landmark, situated in the Royal park the refurbishment of 1,250 seats was completed early 2014. The chosen colour scheme of dark green ensures it fits in well with the surroundings. The Solara seat is padded with armrests, to ensure maximum comfort for theatre-goers.
Amsterdam Arena has completed the installation of the solara seating into the east and west moats, the work was completed in order to increase the capacity in Ajax home ground. Amsterdam Arenas intent was to install seating that was the market leader, to help them push forward the Amsterdam Arena brand globally.
In conjunction with our partners in North America, Irwin Seating, the first major stadium in the USA has been completed using the Solara chair. Over 40,000 seats were installed under the supervision of Bluecube. Both the 460mm and 480mm width solara versions were used to differentiate between general admission and business sections, with the majority of the seating having integrated armrests!
In conjunction with our partners in North America, Irwin Seating, solara chairs have been installed into one section of the Wallace Wade stadium. News reports suggest that further renovations to the stadium will occur, including increased seating capacity, upgrading of the press boxes and modernisation of all the existing football facilities.

Pozitif Arena follows in the footsteps of The Heineken Music Hall, and the Ziggo Dome of the Netherlands, the goal of the project being ‘perfect amplified music’ has been achieved using the experience of these venues. Pozitif Arena has a seated capacity of 5,000, all of which are the Integra IT223 chair with rail mounted armrests and cupholders. 2,000 of the chairs are on the ‘Grid’ floor system, enabling increased flexibility for the different event modes.
Bluecube has just completed the installation of seating on the Singapore Sports Hub, this includes the 55,000 seat national stadium and 3,000 seat Aquatic centre. This was the first major installation of the VIP Luxura seat, in which 1,500 seats were installed. All of the 56,500 solara chairs installed incorporate the 3/4 tip open seat design, making access to the seat easier, especially when hands are full with food and drink!
Estadio Beira Rio will hold 5 soccer matches during the 2014 world cup in Brazil. The 52,000 seat stadium completed by Bluecube Brazil , sits on the banks of the Guaiba River. It has maintained the red colour of the host club ‘internacional’ when installing the Solara and Integra seating.

Castelao Stadium will hold 6 soccer matches during the 2014 world cup in Brazil, most notably the Brazil v Mexico group match and a quarter final game. The 65,000 seat stadium completed by Bluecube Brazil was firstly used in the confederations cup in 2013.

Corinthians Arena will hold 6 soccer matches during the 2014 world cup in Brazil, including one semi-final, and was also the location of the impressive opening ceremony. The 40,000 seat stadium (over 60,000 when including demountable seating) completed by Bluecube Brazil is a top of the line arena with all seats being the integra type in white colour.
Completed at the end of 2013, Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium is a 25,000 muti purpose venue, which is home to Al Ain FC. The stadium contains solara GA seating, solara business seating and solo press desk solutions, all supplied and installed by Bluecube (GB) Ltd. The colour distribution was co ordinated between Bluecube and local london architectural firm, Pattern Architects
The brand new multi-functional Tele 2 Arena in Stockholm opened on 20 July 2013. The 30,000 seat arena has been fitted with Bluecube’s Solara and Integra chairs, Scribe writing tablet & Solo desking.
Bluecube has also designed and supplied an innovative new system for combined seating/standing terraces – the new system allows crush-rails and seating to be quickly and easily changed over – the compromised seating comfort of combined seats and rails is now a thing of the past!
Castelão is one of the venues of the 2014 FIFA world cup to be held in Brazil. The stadium was redeveloped for the tournament and now has a seating capacity of 66,700. The stadium was officially completed in December 2012.Castelão was the first of 12 stadiums being built or redeveloped for the 2014 World Cup to be completed.
Bluecube has secured its first deal in Brazil: Fortaleza Stadium which is to be ready for the upcoming World Cup in 2014. Bluecube has partnered up with Nöra, a Brazilian company specialising in corporate furniture, to supply 64,000 seats for the Castelão Stadium that will host the World Cup games in the city of Fortaleza. The company is also in the bid to supply to other arenas for the World Cup and Olympic Games in Rio. In all, Brazil will require 1.3 million seats for the sports centers that will be hosting these major events.
