New Tele 2 Arena in Stockholm opened

The brand new multi-functional Tele 2 Arena in Stockholm opened on 20 July 2013. The 30,000 seat arena has been fitted with Bluecube’s Solara and Integra chairs, Scribe writing tablet & Solo desking.

Bluecube has also designed and supplied an innovative  new system for combined seating/standing terraces – the new system allows crush-rails and seating to be quickly and easily changed over – the compromised seating comfort of combined seats and rails is now a thing of the past!

Estádio Plácido Aderaldo Castelo officially opened!

Castelão is one of the venues of the 2014 FIFA world cup to be held in Brazil. The stadium was redeveloped for the tournament and now has a seating capacity of 66,700. The stadium was officially completed in December 2012.Castelão was the first of 12 stadiums being built or redeveloped for the 2014 World Cup to be completed.

Blue Cube secures Fortaleza Stadium contact in Brazil

Bluecube has secured its first deal in Brazil: Fortaleza Stadium which is to be ready for the upcoming World Cup in 2014. Bluecube has partnered up with Nöra, a Brazilian company specialising in corporate furniture, to supply 64,000 seats for the Castelão Stadium that will host the World Cup games in the city of Fortaleza. The company is also in the bid to supply to other arenas for the World Cup and Olympic Games in Rio. In all, Brazil will require 1.3 million seats for the sports centers that will be hosting these major events.
